The novella follows a boy named Taylor who was born into a world of perpetual twilight.  All his life Taylor had heard of how the world used to have a sun that rose in the morning and set at night. That was of course until Dragon stole the sun and placed it on his mountain so only he could bask in its warmth. When Taylor is sent off by his tribe on his waywalk, he decides to confront Dragon and return the Sun to its rightful place. Too bad the journey doesn’t go as straightforwardly as Taylor hoped.
